Destini Ramsey, LPC
Christian Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor

Destini Ramsey stands at the intersection of clinical excellence and deep compassion. A licensed professional counselor and doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Regent University, she brings both experience and intentionality to her work. Her doctoral focus in trauma care reflects a longstanding commitment to walking with others through the most difficult chapters of their stories—with grace, grit, and grounded expertise.
Before entering the counseling field, Destini served in education and emergency response—roles that shaped her belief in steady, presence-centered care. Her academic journey has included nursing at Oklahoma Baptist University, family studies and gerontology at Southern Nazarene University, and a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. Each step has equipped her to engage not just the diagnosis, but the person behind it.
Destini’s work is as practical as it is personal. She draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, reality therapy, and existential approaches—tailoring each session to honor the personality, pace, and strengths of the person in front of her. Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, parenting, children and adolescents, autism spectrum disorders, grief, trauma, women’s mental health, and family dynamics. Whether she’s working with a child, adolescent, or adult, her aim remains the same: to help clients step out from the weight of shame and into the freedom of becoming whole.
She is not only a counselor but a student of resilience, devoted to cultivating hope in places that feel stuck or broken. Her work is guided by the quiet confidence of Psalm 62: “Truly my soul finds rest in God… He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” In every session, Destini creates a space where clients can feel safe, seen, and supported as they grow toward healing and strength.
