Brooke Thomas-Cohn, MEd., LADC
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Brooke Thomas-Cohn received her Masters of Education (MEd.) degree, with emphasis in Psychology and Substance Abuse Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1992. She received her LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) license in 2005 from the State of Oklahoma. Brooke taught for 10 years in the Substance Abuse Studies Program at UCO in Edmond. Brooke specializes in addiction education, treatment and recovery. She also specializes in helping clients identify underlying issues of unexpressed grief, trauma and betrayal, abandonment, codependency, enabling and enmeshment, family and relational dysfunctional attachments, and wounded inner child issues. Brooke utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and FEFT (Faster Emotional Freedom Technique-Tapping) to achieve success with clients.

Brooke is in the process of publishing her first book, For the Love of Phillip: The Path to Peace after the Loss of a Child. It is due out soon. She works with indivicuals, 18 and older, males and females.

Brooke does not participate with any insurance at this time. Her typical fee is $100 per session.
